Please forgive my shameless plug, but I just wanted to let you know about the gravity defying picture frames I have for sale directly on EterniaNow through Paypal. They are one of my earlier and more successful inventions and are not available anymore. They could make unique Christmas gifts.
They are only $22.50, shipping included (within continental US only, please inquire for shipping costs outside US). If you like I can sign and date them (on the bottom, of course). Please include this request in the special instructions when ordering.
I am deeply humbled and touched by the support I have received from all of you. It looks like we'll make it for another month until August 15th due to your generous donations. Thank you, thank you.
In the mean time, I need help from talented people who can write a professional business plan to procure venture capital, provide legal and accounting help and marketing and public relations to get this site into orbit. If anyone knows someone that can accomplish any of these tasks, please let me know.
Let's hope for the best and thank you so very much for your support. Have a great weekend ;-)
Some of you have mentioned that they would like to help keep the site going for now. Below is a PayPal Donate Button where you can contribute any amount you feel comfortable with. If we do not reach the minimum amount of the monthly costs ($300) to continue running the site, your donation(s) will be refunded.
Thank you very much for your support!
Note: All donations will be handled by my PC Design World Paypal account.
I am very sorry to report that EterniaNow will close its doors around July 15, 2008 due to lack of funding. I am very bummed out about this. I have put over 2600 hours into programming and maintaining the site and have not made a dime, which is fine with me because it is a labor of love. It was a great experiment, which failed mostly due to insufficient capital to keep it going. The monthly hosting fees and expenses can not be paid for anymore and I have run out of the initial funding I did receive from my investors.
After working on EterniaNow for over 2 years, I have come to realize that way more capital investment is required to realize the vision and make EterniaNow a serious player on the Internet. The "ambient noise" of other, much better funded web sites is pretty much impossible to overcome when there are not enough resources for advertising and publicity to get above the "noise" and become noticed.
I want to thank my dear friends and investors, which had enough faith in my abilities to invest some of their money, and believed in me and the great potential of this project. I also want to thank all of you EterniaNow members who have been so very supportive in this endeavor and helped out whenever possible. Thank you for your bulletins and blogs about EterniaNow on MySpace.
Many, many thanks to my dear friend Kip, who has been such an invaluable supporter from the very beginning and has introduced so many of you to this special community.
Unless something drastic or "magical" happens by next month, this is it. The only chance I see at the moment is if anyone of you has the connections or knows somebody that can help out with financing and marketing to keep EterniaNow going. I am open to any suggestions.
All I can say: "At least we tried to realize a wonderful dream and maybe EterniaNow will be resurrected in the future."
Isn't this one of the cutest pups you have ever seen? His name is Spoticus and he is a Dalmation mix, 4 months old and available for adoption at the Santa Fe Shelter (go to page 4). He is shy, but eager to learn.
